About the show:

vienna theatre project would like to sincerely thank the whole team, that worked on this project, for their extreme dedication to get this musical on stage. Hours, no days, were spent painstakingly painting the floor, then making up the rest of the set. The cast, pianist and directors spent many hours deliberating how to make this challenging, amazing musical work into more than just a song cycle. We are very grateful for their professionalism, creativity and hard work.  We did not make it Hollywood.

To everyone who has supported us, please don’t stop! You know who you are - our heartfelt thanks. Also to our lovely audiences a friendly welcome.

We want to give you a beautiful respite from the outside world, a warm place where you can escape into the astounding music and dance, the talent that is Sondheim and the dream of love between two people. This musical is a whisper on soft skin, a stolen word, a stray thought, anger that comes between two lovers, a deep desire that envelopes you in the night, the glittery joy of mirth that indulges your daytime dreams. What do you do when you are suddenly left alone on a Saturday night? Where do your thoughts and your feet take you? Do you put on your favourite music and dance the night away? Watch TV? Dress up? Go out alone? Read books? Cook? Write? Do you yearn for love, old and new? In our world we remember lost loves and great passions we have had for people we know and even people we don’t yet, but would like to.

We invite you to sit back and relax and just be taken away into the beauty of Jacqueline, Tim and Masaaki on stage.
