About the Project
vienna theatre project was founded in 2002 to facilitate high-quality English-language theatre productions at different venues in and around Vienna. Drawing from a pool of local and international professional actors, vienna theatre project offers a wide range of contemporary, award-winning plays written in English, making the tremendous scope of first-rate English-language theatre more accessible to audiences. Our focus is humanity, acceptance and diversity. We aim to integrate art into the community, creating a dialogue between the artist and the audience. vienna theatre project explores the boundaries of theatrical style, producing work that is both innovative and challenging. We are particularly committed to supporting new plays that can illuminate our time.

About Us
The vienna theatre project verein, or "the team", share a common vision, a common mission and common values: Working together to facilitate the production of vibrant, exciting English language theatre in Vienna. The team personifies our inter-cultural mission with members from all over Europe and beyond.
Every member of the team helps to steer vienna theatre project both professionally and artistically so that we can produce stirring, inspiring theatre. We believe that Carnegie was right when he said: "Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organisational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results."
